Independence Place
About the project
Set in historic Old City Philadelphia, this modern high rise building needed a facelift. Our client asked our Designers and Fine Gardening department to add color and beauty to their entry space making an inviting entrance to welcome guests. While the plaza faces Washington Square Park, they also wanted to shield street noise. Through large trees, hydrangeas, and classic boxwood hedges, we were able to create a sense of space while adding green throughout.
The Before...
The raised beds of this project had been overgrown and neglected and with the formality of the adjacent buildings and park nearby, our designers wanted to reflect that same plant palette throughout the space, but done in a modern way. The use of Hornbeam trees, boxwoods, hydrangeas and carex grasses truly helped blend into the already beautiful surroundings.
Our Solution
This project simply imbues luxury, sophistication and class with it's timeless landscape work and container gardens.
PLAN
Our team of experienced designers & sales personnel make each client our top priority!
Design
We don’t so much as touch a shrub until you approve and love the design.
Install
Relax and watch your landscape take shape before your eyes.
The After...
Pops of color, ever changing interest and beautiful textures were what this space needed. These containers are switched out seasonally while the trees, shrubs and perennials continue to grow and thrive.
