Extending off the house was key for the client to provide space for the client's evergrowing family while still maintaining scale among the rest of the home. Given the tight nature of the property, the client tasked us to push the home outwards giving the illusion of a grander space, but was still in keeping with the home.

Simple timber framed motifs pull the modern elements of this outdoor kitchen and storage into the forefront. Using full color thermal bluestone and native wissahickon schist stone highlights the cool metal tones of the kitchen and furniture.
