While we had a small part in making this happen, we are proud we were able to work with the owners, clients and design firm in making these trees the stars of the space!
About the project
Roots added swaths of color, texture, and interest for all seasons. Using alot of natives, grasses, and colorful perennials, our landscape designer laid out ever perennial, shrub and tree. The interior courtyard flanks the main entrance and calms the eye as you walk through the garden.
The Before...
What was once an old warehouse and church yard was transformed into the beautiful space that is the Suraya Courtyard. Designed by Groundswell, Roots was the contractor selected to be able to implement this tight and tedious design. Digging through rubble and old foundation Roots was able to install these trees properly.
Our Solution
Working our way out, we excavated each tree pit two at a time and installed each tree carefully to insure their success.
