SURAYA COURTYARD

We’re honored to have played a role in creating the serene and stunning Suraya Courtyard. Collaborating with the owners, clients, and design team, we helped ensure that the trees take center stage in this thoughtfully curated space.

Transforming what was once an old warehouse and church yard, Roots worked closely with Groundswell to bring this vision to life. The design called for precision and care, as we navigated rubble and remnants of old foundations to properly install every tree, shrub, and perennial. The result is a courtyard that seamlessly combines color, texture, and seasonal interest while offering a calming retreat.

Excavating and planting each tree with care, we ensured their longevity and success. Today, the courtyard’s sleek, minimalist design creates a peaceful escape—a true gem in the heart of Fishtown.
